Special Collection Instructions
- It may take several months for sterilization to be complete after vasectomy.
- The sample should be collected after a minimum of 48 hours of sexual abstinence.
- The specimen should be delivered to the laboratory within 1 hour of collection.
- The specimen must be protected from extreme temperatures (< 20 C or > 37 C)
