Patient Preparation

Collect before bowel movement, bath or upon waking

Special Collection Instructions

1. Gently press paddle’s sticky side against several areas of perianal region while spreading open      perianal folds.
2. Place paddle into transport container, & tighten cap.
3. Daily consecutive negative specimens (?6) should be obtained before patient is considered infection free.

NOTE: Specimens are best obtained at 10 – 11 p.m. or upon waking & before bowel movement or bath.
