Additional Information/Important Notes
Positive Lyme will reflex to MAYO test LYWB. The CDC recommends performing immunoblotting (Western Blot) for all samples that give equivocal or positive results with EIA assays. Results are considered positive only if the EIA and immunoblot are both positive. Negative EIA samples need not be tested further.
